Health and Safety Guidelines
For health and safety reasons, the California Vipassana Center requires all incoming students and servers to take an antigen self-test within 24 hours before arriving at CVC. If the result is positive or if you are feeling sick, please cancel your attendance. If the result is negative, please bring a second antigen test.
Out of consideration for everyone, please do not come if you are feeling sick.
Masking is optional. We recommend those immuno-compromised and seniors to wear one.
We ask for your cooperation with the following. We will be in close proximity to one another in the meditation hall and dining hall, and it is important that we take steps to avoid spreading any illness to our fellow participants. It is common to have an occasional cough or sneeze but, if you find yourself coughing or sneezing with any frequency, please take the Covid test you were asked to bring. If the test result is positive, please inform the Course Manager immediately. If the test result is Negative, out of consideration for everyone, you’ll be asked to please wear a N95 mask, and kindly speak with the Teachers. Masks are available in the Dhamma Hall and Dining Hall entrances.
